√All of my crème/lotions/moisturizer recipes are made with the finest of natural ingredients that contributes to the integrity of the final product. One of the wonders of making my own products is that I have the finest quality and also the control of what goes into the product and onto your skin.
√Many of my ingredients aren't added to impress the conscious public. Oils, Butters, are cold-pressed, certified organic and committed Cruelty Free. Herbs are either homegrown, ethically wild-crafted and/or purchased from certified organic farms only.
√The products are home cooked in small batches to ensure quality freshness. These products should not be exposed to extreme heat, cold or frequent temperature changes. Store them in a cool dry place. It is best to not store products in the bathroom because they are usually subject to widely varying temperature and humidly levels.
√After opening, close the lids on all bottles and jars. Exposure to air will oxidize the ingredients, shortening the lifespan considerably.
√Only organic, natural ingredients are used. I do not use artificial colorants, stabilizers, artificial fragrances or preservatives. You may notice color and or consistency variations. These variations do not affect the efficacy of the products. Creams will just need to be stirred gently.
NOTE on using Raw Butters: Natural organic raw butter can granulate, such as Shea due to temperature changes. These crystals of unsaponifiable matter do not affect the products properties, and will disappear when rubbed into your hand

HOMEMADE LUXURY ORGANIC FACE AND BODY CREME MOISTURIZER
My Face and Body Crème’s are a combination of organic botanical ingredients producing non-greasy & well absorbed deep moisturizers that is fabulous nourishment for the body. Home Cooked, Home Made and individually Hand Poured into 4oz containers. Only small batches are cooked at a time using the old fashioned baine marie (water bath over the stove), with only stainless steel pots or glass pots.
Because these crèmes are cooked without using artificial preservatives, please read the FAQ’s above. Home Cooked lotions are very different from commercial lotions. They are as unique and individual as you are. No two batches are the same.
Cooked Fresh, Packaged in 4oz container. $10.00. These creams are rich and emollient. Ingredients used are pure and not "fairy dusted" to fulfill labeling. Because these are basically customized, I have provided as a courtesy some Information on the Butters and Oils-down below and throughout this website.
The Oil Base : Organic Cold-Pressed Grape Seed Oil, Sunflower Oil. Customized Oils can be added in addition to; depending on skin type. e.g. Rice Bran,(or) Avocado, (or)Sweet Almond oil, (or)Rose Hip, (or)Sesame Seed Oil
Butter Base : Organic Mango Butter, Tucuma Butter. Customized Butters can be added in addition to; depending on skin type. e.g. Shea Butter, (or)Coffee, (or)Pumpkin Seed Butters (natural Zinc), (or)Red Palm.
Botanicals are customized. Green Tea Extract is cooked in all batches. Herbal oils that can be used are Burdock, Chamomile, Nettle Extracts, Yarrow, Calendula, Black Current (Extract) and New: Pomegranate (Extract). Please email for any specifics.
Farm Fresh Beeswax is used as a natural emulsifier. Certified Organic (Inner Filet) Aloe Vera is used in all batches. In addition, Sea of Buckthorn (direct from Russia) and Natural Vitamin E.
Specialty Oils Depending on Skin Type can be included to the base: Organic Avocado Oil (for mature skin), Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (normal to dry skin), Organic Sweet Almond Oil (for normal skin), Organic Apricot Kernel (mature), Home Made Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil (mature skin) and/or Home Made Organic Evening Primrose (mature skin). Also upon availability- Organic Chia Seed Oil-high in Omega.

UCUUBA BUTTER (Upon Availability). Ucuuba Butter is a very hard butter, black in color with properties exceeding Shea. Ucuuba butter produces a very thick moisturizing crème. I also like to use Ucuuba butter in my organic soaps; giving the soaps a very nice and natural warm color.
COCOA BUTTER is a hard natural cream colored butter extracted from cocoa beans during the process of separating the powder and liquor from the bean. Cocoa butter has a soft, sweet cocoa aroma. It will melt upon contact on the skin and has been used to heal and moisturize skin that has been exposed to the elements. Helps reduce the formation of stretch marks during pregnancy by keeping the skin supple.

For a long time, there has been a tradition in Japan that women rub rice bran in or put Rice Bran Oil on their face to keep their skin smooth. These women, having smooth and shiny skin, are called "Nuka-Bijin" ("Bran Beauty" in English). It is a tradition and effective in keeping skin smooth; Also, Rice Bran Oil is a natural sunscreen product.
Sea of Buckthorn Oil (direct from Russia) helps to improve skin conditions, supports healing of skin injuries - is known for centuries as a skin care remedy with healing, revitalizing and restorative action. The oil obtained from the plant has been utilized by Eastern and more recently by Western medicine. Due to the natural richness in nutrients essential for the healthy skin, Sea of Buckthorn oil extracts is helpful against wrinkles, dryness, malnourished or prematurely aging skin. It leaves no residue, as virtually all ingredients are absorbed and assimilated by the skin.
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is high in oleic acid and is a good skin regenerator. Olive oil acts as a humectants, drawing moisture from the air to your hair and skin, while allowing normal exfoliation, perspiration and releasing of sebum to continue.
TUCUMA BUTTER - 100% Natural Tucumu butter comes straight from the source in Brazil; has been called the ultimate emollient, and has been used to keep skin soft and supple. When applied topically, it creates a barrier between sensitive skin and the environment and also helps retain moisture. The Vitamin A content is found to be three times higher than that of a carrot.

| Plague of Marseilles |

*NEW Unguento Dell 'Impiccato (The Ointment of the Hanged Man). You may be familiar with the more known Vinegar of the Four Thieves of Marseilles. Although there's no bubonic plague, this mixture makes a wonderful sping and summer cleaning, especially for those with pets. The concoction disperses and repells fleas and other common pests. As you well know, it was the plague infested fleas that were sickening Europe. Comes in a 4oz Blue Cobalt Trigger Spray Bottle. $8.00
Some history: one of the main ingredients is my own homegrown Rue. Healers hold this most sacred as it is said to fix or hold a spirit to the earth. It has been used since recorded times by many different cultures. The term plague came from the Latin Plaga meaning to blow or strike. Some thought diseases were caused by Pest Jungfrau, a beautiful maiden who flew over the countryside with a blue flame. During these times people performed odd and cruel rituals such as frenetic dancing, burying young children as sacrifice or virgins were stripped nude and forced to drag a plow counter clockwise.
Marseilles legend has it that four thieves who robbed the bodies and the houses of the dead were caught. One of the thieve's mother was an Herbalist. She had made an ointment containing Rue, Lavender, Thyme, Sage, Mint to rub on one and other as they ransacked through the houses. When they were caught, they would be spared for their survival if they disclosed the herbal secret.
Tragedy of Milan legend has it that a barber and his business partner were arrested. In those days barbers dabbled in medicine. Before the hanging, with the rope around the neck, he confessed the preparation of the ointment. The formula is known as Unguento Dell' Impiccato. Among the composition was olive oil, dill, laurel berried, sage and rosemary. Intrestingly, these remedies were composed almost entirely of aromas of which some furnished are accepted germicide of our own day.
